Kyocera TCL Solar, a subsidiary of Kyocera, announced the successful completion of a 29.
2MW utility-scale solar power plant
in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, Japan.
It is understood that this is Kyocera TCL Solar's largest photovoltaic project
.
The PV project's modules are installed on
a site originally reserved for the golf course that has been abandoned.
The solar project installed 108504 Kyocera photovoltaic modules with an annual power generation capacity of about 36,080MWh, enough to power
about 12,000 households.
The project leader said all electricity generated at the plant would be sold to local utility Chugoku Power
