Recently, researchers have verified the clinical utility of plasma neurofilament light chain (NfL) in diagnosing Symptomatic Alzheimer’s disease with Down’s syndrome, assessing its prognostic value, and determining the longitudinal changes in adults with Down’s syndrome

Multicenter cohort study

Between August 2, 2010 and July 16, 2019, a total of 608 samples from 236 Down’s syndrome patients were analyzed: 165 (70%) were asymptomatic, and 32 (14%) had prodrome.
