Specialty chemicals company LANXESS said on December 23 that it has recently completed a three-year project with a total investment of more than 20 million euros to expand its integrated production base for aromatic products

The production of aromatic intermediates is a core competency of LANXESS.
The focus of this comprehensive modernization project is the manufacturing facilities of nitrotoluene, chlorinated benzene and its downstream products

After decades of development, the LANXESS aromatic products integrated production base has formed a comprehensive network structure, covering seven large-scale production plants, using petrochemical raw materials to produce more than 60 synthetic components

The integrated production base for aromatic products has about 500 employees and an annual output of 300,000 tons
