The micro-chemical system creation and industrial demonstration project for complex reaction process enhancement jointly completed by Tsinghua University, Zhejiang Xinhui New Materials Co.
The project is based on the construction of a micro-reaction system that integrates micro-equipment and conventional equipment, and carries out system innovation at four levels: the creation of micro-structural elements, the combination of micro-equipment and conventional equipment, the construction of micro-reaction processes, and the demonstration of micro-chemical systems.
The project has made innovations in the following three aspects: First, for the high-viscosity reaction system controlled by mixing and mass transfer, an asymmetric micro-groove mixing element and its integrated amplification method were proposed, and a "micro-mixer + tubular reactor + micro-channel reactor was invented.
The technology was identified by the scientific and technological achievements organized by the Petrochemical Federation as: the first application of micro-reaction technology in the field of synthetic rubber production, leading the development of micro-chemical technology, and laying a foundation for improving the self-sufficiency rate and international competitiveness of high-performance rubber products in China, It also leads the transformation, upgrading and sustainable development of the rubber additives industry
