    Sinochem News recently, LG Chem and Taekwang Industrial have established a joint venture to produce acrylonitrile in South Korea, with a planned production capacity of 200,000 tons per year
    .


    Taiguang owns 60% of the equity in the joint venture, and the remaining equity is held by LG Chem


    At present, Taekwang has an acrylonitrile production capacity of 290,000 tons/year in Ulsan, South Korea
    .


    Another South Korean producer of acrylonitrile is South Korea's Dongxu Petrochemical Company
