Liaoyang Petrochemical's cross-linked polyethylene special resin realizes industrialized mass production

As of September 2, the cross-linked polyethylene special resin independently developed by Liaoyang Petrochemical has produced a total of 3,240 tons, achieving industrialized mass production, and the product quality has reached the level of similar foreign products, becoming Liaoyang Petrochemical’s main polyethylene variety and new profit growth.

The market application shows that the performance of the geothermal pipe produced by Liaoyang Petrochemical products has reached the national standard, filling the gap of the domestic cross-linked polyethylene special resin, and breaking the monopoly of foreign companies' technology and products.

The special resin for cross-linked polyethylene has the characteristics of uniform product particle size, appropriate size, and narrow product molecular weight distribution.

At present, the domestic demand for cross-linked polyethylene special resin is nearly 80,000 tons per year, and almost all raw materials used are imported.

The cross-linked polyethylene special resin has special requirements for molecular weight distribution and particle size, and the added value of the product is high.
