    In July 2017, at the beginning of its establishment, the laboratory started the research on "Preparation Technology and Industrialization Demonstration Project of High Performance Silicone Rubber Compound Elastomer"


    After 4 years of continuous research, the project team has solved the problems of poor compatibility between silicone rubber and existing tire rubber, large differences in vulcanization speed, uneven dispersion of nano-enhancers in the two phases of composite elastomers, and laboratory performance of rubber compounds.


    The completion of this project has enhanced the technological innovation capability of China's rubber industry and played a key role in the practical application of silicone rubber materials in tire production

    In addition to the research on synthetic rubber raw materials, the laboratory has also been committed to the research of bio-based materials, through research on natural rubber materials such as dandelion rubber, to reduce the tire industry's dependence on imported natural rubber materials


    In November 2017, the laboratory team started a national key research and development project - the preparation technology and application demonstration of new bio-based rubber materials


      During the period, Linglong Tire completed the research and trial production of various bio-based rubbers such as dandelion rubber snow tires, Eucommia rubber truck radial tires and itaconate biosynthetic rubber semi-steel radial tires


      In 2021, two national key R&D projects, "Preparation Technology and Industrialization Demonstration Project of High-Performance Silicone Rubber Compound Elastomer" and "Preparation Technology and Application Demonstration Project of New Bio-based Rubber Materials", have successively passed the conclusion organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.


      Wang Feng said that Linglong Tire has been promoting the sustainable development of the industry with scientific research over the years, and has continued to carry out research and application of natural rubber materials such as bio-based
