Among them, the planned total area of ​​the high-end industrial function agglomeration area is about 1,500 mu, mainly for the development of high-tech, high-value-added chemical industries.
According to the plan, more than 20 projects will be launched in this high-end industrial function cluster in the future.
The total investment of the project is estimated to be nearly 10 billion yuan, and the annual output value is expected to reach 18 billion yuan.
The review experts said that the construction of the Lisha Island petrochemical storage base has reached a considerable scale and has the conditions to enter the fine chemical industry.
At the same time, as an important manufacturing base in the country, Dongguan has a strong demand for chemical products.
According to preliminary statistics, Dongguan directly consumes liquid chemicals.
There are as many as 5,000 companies producing chemical products.
In 2008, the demand for chemical products was nearly 10 million tons.
