The "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Yangtze River" is my country's first law on the protection of the Yangtze River and will come into force on March 1, 2021.

Over the past five years, 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River have actively implemented the important guidelines of "ecology first, green development", "comprehensive protection and no development".

From February to March 2021, under the guidance of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, a special research team on the green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt composed of China Chemical News and related experts went to more than 80 chemical industries in 7 key provinces on the upper, middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Field surveys and interviews of industrial parks and enterprises.
