    A few days ago, the China Petroleum Science and Technology Management Department project "Low-temperature catalytic oxidation method VOCs treatment technology sideline test" undertaken by the Lanzhou Chemical Research Center of the Petrochemical Research Institute successfully completed the field test and research in the styrene butadiene workshop of the rubber plant of the Lanzhou Petrochemical Company.


    VOCs are the main pollutants that cause the increase of PM2.


    The project team of the Lanzhou Chemical Research Center eliminated all the difficulties caused by the epidemic during the construction of the low-temperature catalytic oxidation VOCs treatment device.


    In order to ensure the smooth completion of the field test after the completion of the device, the project team formulated a detailed test plan for the field conditions of styrene-butadiene tail gas with large rubber particles, ash and oil content, concentration fluctuations, and large changes in composition.


    The project team of the Lanzhou Chemical Research Center completed a 1000h field long-period test at a space velocity of 15000h-1 and a temperature below 300℃.

    According to investigations, only Lanzhou Petrochemical Company has 10 sets of VOCs treatment devices that have been built or are under construction, and the demand for catalysts is about 20-30m3.
