Mangrove Bio-Resource Survey and Important Species DNA Barcode Library Construction Project Started.

The project "Survey of Mangrove Bio-Resources and Construction of Important Types of DNA Barcode Library", led by the South China Sea Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was recently launched in Guangzhou.
The project is intended to find out the "home base" of mangrove biological resources and important species of genetic resources in China, and to provide scientific basis and basic data for mangrove research, protection and management and sustainable development of resources in China.
