Media: Russia seeks Eurasian Economic Union to impose restrictions on grain exports

According to the Russian newspaper Kommersant, Russia is seeking quotas and tariffs on grain exports from countries in the Eurasian Economic Unio.

Russia put forward the above initiative at the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission held on May 2 The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation believes that this measure is necessary to prevent the re-export of Russian grains through the Eurasian Economic Union bypassing the restrictio.
