From SeafoodMedia on November 7, experts from the Pacific branch of the All-Russian Fisheries Research Institute (VNIRO) met with representatives of the Peruvian fisheries association COPMAR to discuss
cooperation between the two countries in the field of mariculture.

Russian scientists presented the latest achievements of the Institute in the creation and processing of marine biotechnology, while representatives of Peruvian fisheries presented the main activities of the association and possible cooperation
between the two sides in marine fish farming, breeding and production.

The two sides decided to cooperate on issues that would be likely to be of interest to both in the field of fisheries and to develop a draft
framework.
