Agrochemicals Chinese website reports: Valent's corn herbicide Maverick ™ has been approved by the US Environmental Protection Agenc.
The product provides corn growers with three effective modes of action for long-term, wide-ranging treatment of problem wee.
Spectrum control, including amaranth vines, long amaranth, firleaf and annual grass weed.

Maverick features application flexibility, low usage for on-site processing and mixing, and excellent atrazine compatibili.

Maverick contains 45% clopyralid acid (Group 4), 91% mesotrione (Group 27), and 45% sulfofenazone (Group 15) in SC, combining three different modes of action, which allows Maverick makes an excellent choice for herbicide resistance management progra.

Maverick will be available later this year, pending state registration approv.
