Michelin recently announced the launch of two tyres with a sustainable material content of 45% and 58% respectively, which will be adapted to passenger cars and buses
    respectively.

Both tires are approved for road use and have the same
level of performance as tyres currently on the market.
The launch of these two tyres is an important milestone in Michelin's acceleration of sustainable innovation, laying the foundation for
the company's launch of tires with high content of sustainable materials over the next two to three years.
Michelin previously announced that it will increase the proportion of sustainable materials in tires to 40% by 2030 and achieve 100% of tires made
from bio-sourced, renewable or recycled materials by 2050.

According to reports, 45% of Michelin's sustainable material tires are suitable for passenger cars, and 58% of sustainable material tires are suitable for buses
    .
Both tires use more natural rubber, recycled carbon black, sunflower oil, bioresin, silica extracted from rice husk and recycled steel
    .

Michelin said that the company has actively participated in a series of cooperation projects for recyclable materials, including the recycling of styrene, the recycling of carbon black, bio-butadiene and other projects
    led by the French government.
