During the new crown epidemic, persistent infections for several months frequently occurred in young patients with COVID-19, often with mild or asymptomatic symptoms, and with persistently positive nucleic acid tests

The researchers successively collected a group of nasopharyngeal swabs from patients with new crown infections.

Genome sequencing analysis showed that the infected person mainly carried the new coronavirus B.

The results of viral RT-PCR monitoring showed that the Ct value of ORF1ab gene in 6 patients with persistent infection all rose to above 35 85 days after the first positive detection, and 5 of them rose to above 35 after 60 days

The researchers continued to analyze the immune response of people with persistent infection with the new coronavirus
