On the morning of June 26, 2009, the groundbreaking ceremony of Jilin Mingyang Wind Power Blade Manufacturing Base was held in Jilin High-tech Zone.
Jilin Municipal Party Secretary Zhou Huachen, Mayor Zhang Xiaopei, Municipal Standing Committee Member, Executive Deputy Mayor Zhao Jingbo, Government Secretary-General Wang Nailong, High-tech Zone Management Committee Director Cheng Yan, Deputy Director Wang Likuan and other relevant department leaders of the municipal government, Mingyang Wind Power Industry Group Chairman Zhang Chuanwei and some company leaders attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

According to experts from China Epoxy Industry Association ( Jilin Mingyang Wind Power Blade Base has invested 380 million yuan in construction and is expected to be completed and put into production at the end of October 2009.
