    The team developed a miniature robot based on magnetically powered human nuclear transplantation stem cells (hNTSC) and developed a minimally invasive method of implanting therapeutic drugs into the brain through the intranasal route


     

    The limitation of stem cell therapy is that it is difficult to deliver a precise number of stem cells to precise locations deep in the body, where treatment has a high risk


     

    In order to overcome these limitations, the joint research team of DGIST and Catholic University Seoul Street Mary Hospital has developed a miniature robot based on magnetodynamic hntsc, which can use an external magnetic field to manipulate freely and reliably inside the human body


     

    The newly developed micro-robot can perform rolling motion through an externally controlled rotating magnetic field, and perform translational motion through magnetic field gradients, realizing efficient transportation in various physiological environments in the body


     

    The research team further verified the reliability of the newly developed micro-robot transplanted into brain tissue


     

    Professor Cui said: "This study overcomes the limitations of the blood-brain barrier that prevents the delivery of therapeutic agents to the brain tissue
