According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on January 19, on January 18, 2022, a seminar on lithium battery coding standards and lithium battery traceability systems was held in Beijing.

The China Electronics Standardization Institute reported on the preparation of lithium battery coding standards and the preliminary construction plan of the traceability platform, and the participants conducted discussions on issues related to the construction of the lithium battery coding traceability system

In the next step, the Department of Electronic Information will accelerate the implementation of the "Lithium-ion Battery Industry Standard Conditions" (2021 version), revise and release the "Lithium-ion Battery Industry Comprehensive Standardization Technology System", guide relevant units to speed up the formulation of lithium battery coding standards, and research and establish lithium battery traceability System and related public service platforms to coordinate the promotion of high-quality development of the lithium-ion battery industry
