Molex of the United States launches the Temp-Flex multi-core hybrid cable
The American company Molex has launched a multi-core hybrid cable called Temp-Flex®, which is a customizable multi-core hybrid cable
.
This cable adopts the core competitiveness of Temp-Flex and Molex, and mixes enameled wire, coaxial cable, twinaxial cable, triaxial cable, twisted pair, tubing and other reinforcements to form a highly flexible single hybrid cable
.
According to reports, this multi-functional design method can enable Temp-Flex® multi-core hybrid cable to meet the transmission needs
of data, signal and power supply at the same time in harsh environments.
Kris Low, Product Manager at Molex, said: "The design of the hybrid cable is very advantageous
for limited environmental and space conditions.
This not only ensures the versatile use of the cable, but also greatly reduces the use of space and environmental impact
.
”
This Temp-Flex multicore hybrid cable can be used for audio/video, entertainment equipment, medical applications, aerospace and defense, including control centers, instrumentation, military vehicles, missiles, radar, satellites and vision systems
.
Moreover, there are several options for jacketing of this cable, such as ETFE, FEP, PFA, THV, PVDF and polyurethane, which means that it can withstand temperatures ranging from minus 30 degrees to 300 degrees
