In March of this year, the process technicians of Jianghan Oil Production Plant combined the production history of the wells and the conditions of the wellbore after the production shutdown, and carried out the "carpet->Considering that the north fault block of Wangchang Oilfield is a hydrophilic oil reservoir, the structural steep formation has a large dip angle and sufficient energy, the technicians decided to choose the main battlefield for long-stop shut-in and oil replacement in the north fault block.
Pumping of Well Wangxin 10-4 was suspended in February 2015.

In April, the technical staff of the plant's technology institute first proposed the concept of "oil fishing in water".
In the next step, the technical staff of the plant will continue to actively search for potential long-stop wells to optimize and promote oil replacement programs in blocks with large dip angles, active flow fields, sufficient energy, and low-permeability and low-yield blocks, so as to benefit and stabilize production in old areas.
