[China Epoxy Industry Online] July 15, 2005: According to experts’ estimates, my country’s acetone consumption will reach 580,000 tons this year, which is one-tenth of the world’s 5.
2 million tons consumption.
This is the second consecutive year.
Occupies such a share in the world's acetone consumption in 2015.
This pattern enables my country to play a leading role in the price of acetone in Asia.

In March and April of this year, the global newly added acetone production capacity was concentrated in Asia.

The region has formed 400,000 tons/year acetone production capacity, which are Korea Kumho P&B Chemical’s 90,000 tons/year installation, LG Chemical’s 110,000 tons/year installation, and China Shanghai Gaoqiao has a 75,000-ton/year installation, and China’s Taiwan Province Changchun Plastics Company has a 125,000-ton/year installation.
