A few days ago, associate professor Jiang Tengyao from the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Technology, etc.
Compared with commercially available low-emissivity energy-saving glass, the smart window has a cooling/heating energy saving effect of up to 324.
"The energy use of buildings in China accounts for more than 20% of the total energy use, of which heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems consume about half of the energy in buildings.
In order to realize the self-regulation of the two bands, so that sunlight and long-wave infrared light can automatically exert the maximum energy-saving effect, based on this model, the research team designed and prepared a dual-band regulation self-response smart window
Building energy-saving simulation experiments show that the smart window shows better energy-saving effect than commercially available low-emissivity energy-saving glass, with a cooling/heating energy-saving effect of up to 324.
In the later stage, the research team will continue to explore issues such as the scale-up of the preparation process and the weather resistance and service life of the materials, so as to provide technical support for industrial applications
