Food Partners Network News Thailand's National Cancer Institute on December 28 announced that there is no evidence that fresh plant formula shakes can treat lymphoma.
A fact-finding study found that plants in fresh plant formula shakes include: snowgrass, currants, lemons, papayas, basil, rose eggplant, sorgan ginger, bitter melons, cherries and tomatoes, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber and many antioxidants (e.g. β-carotene, lycoprotein and flavonoids) that help slow cell degeneration and strengthen the immune system, but this is only preliminary and there is no conclusive clinical evidence that these plants can treat lymphoma.
, director of the National Cancer Institute, said overeating fresh plant formula shakes can have side effects on consumer health, especially if cancer patients who are being treated should be treated under medical supervision.
