On December 28 , the first phase of the Yulin Circular Economy Coal Comprehensive Utilization Project ( CTC-1 project) of the National Energy Group Yulin Chemical Industry successfully completed the entire process and produced MTO grade methanol.

The construction of the CTC-1 project started in June 2017 , and the civil works will be basically completed in 2019.

The CTC-1 project is a key construction project in Shaanxi Province, the National Energy Group’s top ten key projects and the coal chemical sector’s "13th Five-Year Plan" final project.
It is located in the north area of Qingshui Industrial Park, Yushen Industrial Zone, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province 133.

86 million tons / year coal-to-methanol and 400,000 tons / year synthesis gas-to-ethylene glycol plants, etc.
