The "Technical Requirements for Environmental Labeling Products-Water-based Coatings (HJ/T 201─2005)" came into effect on January 1, 2006.
This standard puts forward limit requirements for volatile organic compounds (VOC), formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, halogenated hydrocarbons, heavy metals and other harmful substances in water-based coatings.
