July 2, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 5 new confirmed cases, of which 3 cases were imported from abroad (1 case in Liaoning, 1 case in Shanghai, 1 case in Yunnan), 2 cases in China (all in Beijing);
12 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 453 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of serious cases increased by 1 from the previous day.
69 confirmed cases (no serious cases) have been imported from outside China, and 1 suspected case exists. A total of 1923 confirmed cases, a total of 1854 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on July 2, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 409 confirmed cases (of which 8 were serious cases), a total of 78,499 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, 83,542 confirmed cases were reported, and 6 suspected cases existing. A total of 763,077 close contacts were traced and 5,589 were still under medical observation.

received a total of 1736 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
1242 cases (1120 discharges, 7 deaths), 46 cases (45 discharges) and 448 cases (438 discharges and 7 deaths) were discharged from the
Regions.
