    The research team combined theory and experimental methods to perform system modeling in Düsseldorf and Darmstadt, while colleagues in Gothenburg verified these findings with real-life experiments, thus confirming the theoretical model

    Professor Benno Liebchen, head of the "Soft Matter Theory" working group at Darmstadt University of Technology, explained the practical use of droploids: "In addition to proving the new concept of micromotors, droploids and the non-reciprocal interactions involved can be used as future bionics.
