On May 17, the mass spectrometry research team of the Department of Precision Instrumentation of Tsinghua University published a report on the single-cell lipid group fine structure characterization technology based on mass spectrometry, which realized large-scale fine structure analysis of lipids in mammalian single cells and solved the field of single-cell mass spectrometry.
With the aging of the population and changes in life>
Mass spectrometer has become the main technique for single-cell lipidome analysis due to its high sensitivity, high specificity and accurate quantitative ability
The study uses this new technology to carry out single-cell fine lipidomics analysis on wild-type (HCC827) and drug-resistant (HCC827/GR6) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells, and realizes a lipid-based C=C Differentiation of sensitive and drug-resistant lung cancer cells by isoform analysis
Related work was recently published in Nature Communications under the title of "Single-cell lipidomics with high structural specificity by mass spectrometry"
The first author of this article is Li Zishuai, a PhD student in the Department of Precision Instrument, and the corresponding authors are Associate Professor Ma Xiaoxiao and Professor Ouyang Zheng of the Department of Precision Instrument.
