    The newspaper La Repubblica reported on November 20: Nepal's agricultural imports fell by 32%
    in the first three months of this fiscal year.
     
    According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MOALD), Nigeria imported agricultural products worth Rs.
    6,913 crore during the period under review, compared to Rs.
    1,160 crore
    in the same period last fiscal year.
    The current policy of the Nigerian government to curb imports is due to the depletion of foreign exchange reserves, the decline in demand due to soaring product prices and the increased
    attractiveness of domestic products.
