    In the current systematic review and meta-analysis, we sought to assess the impact of PCM on secondary stroke prevention by analyzing data from randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) and observational studies available to date


    We searched the MEDLINE and Scope us databases to identify studies of stroke recurrence rates in patients with a history of recent IS or transient ischemic attack (TIA) who received PCM compared with patients who received conventional heart rhythm monitoring
