    Study participants were 10,392 adults with acute stroke enrolled in the Japan Stroke Database, a hospital-based multicenter stroke registry, between October 2016 and December 2019, with available baseline serum creatinine levels or titrated proteinuria results.


    All ischemic strokes were classified according to the Org 10172 test criteria in acute stroke treatment

    RESULTS: Overall, 2419 (23%) patients had an eGFR of 45-59 mL/min/1.
