Natural killer ( NK )-based immunotherapy has outstanding potential in cancer treatme.

In this paper , bioorthogonal groups ( -N 3 /-BCN ) were implanted on the surface of NK cells and tumor cells through non-destructive bio-orthogonal glycometabolism engineerin.

At the same time, compared with traditional systemic administration, NK cell-conjugated ILNPs nanoparticles can release IL-21 adjuvant in situ in tumors, resulting in effective and sustained " pseudo-autocrine " stimulation of NK cells at low dose.
