    According to “Voice of Nigeria” report on June 3, the Director of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture Karima Babangida stated that the policy of adding 10% cassava flour to bread and other sweets is to ensure national acceptability and Market sustainability.
    This policy has great potential to create a large number of local jobs, reduce billions of naira wheat imports , save huge foreign exchange, and create wealth for ordinary Nigerians and eliminate hunger .
     
    She said that the government is formulating policies to establish a comprehensive agribusiness ecosystem, cooperating with stakeholders to respond to the challenges of the agricultural sector, realizing export substitution, job creation and diversification
