On the morning of April 13, Ningbo's first new urbanization distribution network demonstration zone project officially started in Cicheng, Jiangbei
.

first batch of new urbanization distribution network demonstration area construction projects in Zhejiang Province.
This project will build and transform the distribution network of Cicheng Ancient City, New City and High-tech Industrial Park and surrounding villages, with a total investment of 455 million yuan, of which 266 million yuan will be built to build a 220 kV ancient city power transmission and transformation project to optimize the main grid structure
in Cicheng area.
The distribution network renovation plan will invest 189 million yuan, covering an area of about 28.

Sun Zhineng, spokesperson and deputy general manager of State Grid Ningbo Power Supply Company, said that the construction of the demonstration area will greatly optimize the power supply capacity of the central area of Cicheng Town, improve the reliability of power supply, and meet the electricity demand of residents, commerce, industry and other areas in the central area of Cicheng Town.
Then the degree of aesthetics will be greatly improved, the core area 'overhead line landing', the core area of Cicheng ancient town power lines will be sorted out and changed into cables buried in the ground; the third is the reliability of electricity is enhanced, and the old transmission equipment in Cicheng town is

The project will be implemented in batches over three years, and all construction
will be completed by the end of 2018.
