      Nippon Shokubai announced recently that it is conducting commercial investigations with France's Arkema on the construction of a high-purity lithium bisfluorosulfonimide (LiFSI) production facility in Europe, and plans to form a joint venture.

      LiFSI is the main raw material for high-purity and high-performance power batteries for automobiles.
    It can shorten the charging time under high or low temperature conditions, improve its output characteristics, stability, battery life and recyclability, thereby accelerating the development of semi-solid and all-solid-state batteries.
