Recently, Nissan has confirmed the opening of the largest collective solar roof project
in the Netherlands at its Amsterdam plant in the Netherlands.
The solar roof, installed on the roof of the Nissan Auto Parts Center in the country's capital, consists of nearly 9,000 photovoltaic panels that generate enough renewable electricity per year to power 900 homes

It will also significantly reduce the facility's CO2 emissions, with solar roofs estimated to save 1.

With the ability to produce nearly 70% of NMPC's annual energy, the installation of this massive solar roof represents a major milestone as Nissan strives to make its operations in Europe more sustainable
