Nolion opens a new India headquarters and research centre to support growth

Nolion (formerly AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals) has opened a new headquarters office and research center to support its operations in India. Located in Mumbai, the new site brings together research and sales and business support capabilities to enable the company to better meet customer needs across the region.

. Major projects include the upcoming completion of Norion's organic peroxide facility in Mahad and the construction of a new chloroacetic acid plant in Gujarat. The latter is a joint project with atul, a chemicals manufacturer, and production is scheduled to begin later this year.
