1 Scope
This standard specifies the role and use of fluoroquinolones norfloxacin and enrofloxacin in aquaculture, the principle of use, usage and dosage, precautions and withdrawal perio.

This standard applies to the treatment of bacterial septicemia, enteritis, red skin disease, printing disease, leukoderma, white-headed and white-mouth disease, gill rot and other related bacterial diseases in aquacultur.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standar.
Withdrawal time
The time between the stop of administration and the time when aquatic products are marketed as safe foo.
4 Functions and uses
Norfloxacin and enrofloxacin have the characteristics of broad antibacterial spectrum, strong antibacterial ability and no cross-resistance, and can be widely used in the treatment of bacterial diseases and mycoplasma infection.

5 Principles of use
1 After clinical and laboratory diagnosis, it is allowed to use this class of drugs to treat corresponding diseases in a timely manner under the guidance of technical personnel or in accordance with the product instruction manua.
2 Norfloxacin and enrofloxacin used for the treatment of aquatic animal diseases must come from a manufacturer with a veterinary drug production license and product approval number, or a supplier with an import veterinary drug licens.
3 The use of drugs should follow the provisions of the "Specifications for the Use of Feed Drug Additives.
4 The use of drugs should be in accordance with the normative usage, dosage, precautions for use, et.

6Usage and dosage
1 Internal medicine
Norfloxacin: Administer at a dose of 30 mg to 50 mg per kilogram of fish body weight per day, once every 6 hours to 12 hours, for 5 consecutive day.
Enrofloxacin: Administer at a dose of 10 mg to 20 mg per kilogram of fish body weight per day, once every 6 h to 12 h, for 5 consecutive day.
2 Medicated bath and injection
Medicated bath or injection, can be used for special aquatic animals or special need.
The concentration of the medicated bath was 10 mg/L~20 mg/L, and the time was 30 min; the injection dose was 10 mg~20 mg per kilogram of fish body weight, 1~2 times a day, and 3 d~5 d was a course of treatmen.
7 Notes
1 The dosage regimen depends on the condition and course of the diseas.
2 When feeding orally, the weight of aquatic animals shall be the total weight of all aquatic animals ingesting bait in the whole poo.
3 When using this type of drug orally to prevent and treat bacterial diseases, water disinfectant should be used for water disinfection under normal circumstance.
4 This type of drug cannot be used for a long time, and other antibacterial drugs should be replaced when continuous use for 5 days is ineffective to avoid possible bacterial resistanc.
5 In order to protect the environment, the waste water after the medicated bath should be treated harmlessl.
6 This class of drugs should avoid simultaneous use with alkaline substances such as aluminum hydroxid.
7 Store in a dry place away from direct sunligh.
8 Withdrawal period
When the water temperature was above 18°C, the drug withdrawal period for carp was 10 days; when the water temperature was below 18°C and above 10°C, the drug withdrawal period for carp was 20 day.
