    Canadian chemical and plastic resins producer NOVA Chemicals has introduced new resin technologies for uniaxial orientation (MDO) and biaxial orientation (BO) processes to help its brand owners achieve their sustainable growth targ.


    NOVA Chemicals' highly specialized HDPE resin, SURPASS HPs153-A, can now produce 100% high density MDO fil.


    MDO-HDPE films can be used to replace BOPP and BOPET to produce fully recyclable all PE laminates with high stiffness to maintain printing and bagging, high transparency and good heat resistance to minimize packaging shrinka.


    NOVA Chemicals expands its HDPE resins into oriented film structures for recyclable all-polyethylene packagi.


    In 2021, NOVA Chemicals introduced its transformative BOPE-HD technology, which enables the manufacture of all PE, recyclable multilayer film structures with significantly improved physical properties compared to blown fil.
