Recently, India's National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) announced a tender
for a 22MW grid-connected floating solar project.
The project is used for the Rajiv Gandhi Combined Cycle Power Plant (RGCCPP)
in Kayamkulam, Kerala.
The tender content includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packaging, transportation, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning
of the project.
The winning bidder will also provide three years of operation and maintenance services
.
It was revealed that the deadline for submitting bids was August 21 this year
.
Back last month, NTPC also issued a 15MW EPC solar tender project at the same site
.
It is understood that India has hundreds of billions of watts of solar power potential
in its thermal power plants.
