Oman announces 500MW solar tender project bidders

Recently, Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP) revealed three groups of bidders
for its 500MW solar tender.

The details are as follows:

1.
Abu Dhabi Future Energy (Masdar), Total Solar and JinkoSolar
.

2 .
ACWA Power, Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC) and Alternative Energy Engineering Corporation (AEPC).

3.
Marubeni, Oman Gas Company (OGC), Nebras Power Company and Bahwan Renewable Energy Company
.

A bid evaluation is currently underway and OPWP expects to announce the winning bidder for the
project early next year.
The project is scheduled to be commercially operational
by June 2021.
