    Purpose: Here, we assessed the serum fetoglobulin B level of newly diagnosed patients with alpha-fetoprotein syndrome and conducted various interventions to explore the role of fetuin-B in the pathogenesis of alpha-fetoprotein syndrome

    Methods: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to determine the serum fetuin-B (FB) level

    Bioinformatics methods were used to analyze fetuin B-related genes and signal transduction pathways


    Results: We found that compared with healthy people, women with metabolic syndrome had significantly higher serum fetuin-B levels
    .


    In addition, serum fetuin-B is positively correlated with waist-to-hip ratio, fat percentage, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, FINS, HOMA-IR, VAI and LAP
