On September 20th, 12 new crowns were confirmed, all of which were imported from abroad

From 0:24 a.m. on September 20, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 12 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (3 cases in Guangdong, 2 cases in Inner Mongolia, 2 cases in Shanghai, 2 cases in Yunnan, 2 cases in Shaanxi and 1 case in Fujian);
7 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 649 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of serious cases was the same as the previous day.
173 confirmed cases (of which 2 are serious cases) and 1 suspected case has been imported from outside China. A total of 2742 confirmed cases, a total of 2569 cases cured out of hospital, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on September 20, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 173 confirmed cases (of which 2 were serious cases), a total of 80,484 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4,634 cumulative deaths were reported, 85,291 confirmed cases were reported, and 1 suspected case existing. A total of 826,875 close contacts were traced and 6,233 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 25 new cases of asymptomatic infection (all imported from abroad);
received a total of 5585 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
5032 cases (4712 discharges, 103 deaths), 46 cases (46 discharges) and 507 cases (479 discharges and 7 deaths) in the
Regions were discharged.
