From 00:24 on October 13th, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 20 new confirmed cases, of which 14 were imported from abroad (6 in Guangdong, 5 in Shanghai, 3 in Shaanxi), 6 were local (all in Shandong);
7 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 321 close contacts were removed from medical observation, and 3 cases of severe illness increased from the previous day.
229 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and 5 suspected cases have been imported from outside China. A total of 3050 confirmed cases, a total of 2821 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on October 13, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 241 confirmed cases (of which 4 were serious cases), 80,736 cases had been cured and discharged from hospital, 4,634 cumulative deaths had been reported, 85,611 confirmed cases had been reported and 5 suspected cases had been reported. A total of 842,832 close contacts were traced, and 8,912 close contacts were still under medical observation.

regions (489 discharges and 7 deaths).
