    On December 16 last year, the Middle Eastern multinational operator Ooredoo Maldives and Huawei Submarine Cable jointly announced the launch of the Maldives national submarine cable system

    Based on 100Gbps technology, the 1,200-kilometre cable connects the six major islands of the Maldives with a total transmission capacity of 3.

    With this cable, Ooredoo will bring Southeast Asia's first 4G+ network service
