A few days ago, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education released the performance evaluation results of 115 national university science and technology parks across the country, and a total of 22 were rated as excellent.
Among them, 4 units in the province including Southeast University National University Science and Technology Park were rated as excellent, accounting for about 30% of the outstanding total.

In recent years, the construction of national university science and technology parks in the province has accelerated, showing three characteristics:
First, the number and scale continued to grow
.
At present, there are 36 university science parks above the provincial level (including 20 at the national level), with an incubation area of over 1.
25 million square meters and more than 2,150 incubating enterprises.
The number, area and number of incubating enterprises continue to lead the country
.
The second is the continuous improvement of the ability to serve the transformation of university achievements
.
The incubating enterprises have nearly 10,000 valid intellectual property rights, including more than 1,500 invention patents, applied for more than 3,800 intellectual property rights, more than 2,100 technical contract transactions, and received more than 100 provincial-level awards
.
Third, the ability to cultivate new kinetic energy continued to increase
.
Among the incubating enterprises, there are about 150 high-tech enterprises, over 300 small and medium-sized technological enterprises, and over 530 technological enterprises for university students, attracting more than 3,500 fresh graduates, and becoming an important base for solving the employment and entrepreneurship of university students
.
In the next step, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology will cooperate with the Provincial Department of Education to strengthen the guidance and support for the construction of university science and technology parks, give play to the guiding role of policy tools such as performance evaluation, and promote the further improvement of the system and mechanism of university science and technology parks, clarifying functional positioning, focusing on professional fields, and improving level of development
