From December 2016, Pakistan's electricity imports from Iran will increase from 74MW to 104MW.
At present, Iran has proposed to Pakistan to sign an additional 3,000MW of electricity export agreement, but Bashi imports 1,000MW at 8-11 cents per kWh, and does not make any electricity price adjustments if the price
of crude oil is below $145 per barrel.
In addition, Bayi also plans to build an ultra-high voltage transmission and transformation line from Zahedan, Iran to Kuita, Pakistan, with a total length of 678 kilometers, 93 kilometers in Iran and 585 kilometers in Pakistan, Iran will provide 70% of the financing for the project, and will build a 1200MW power station project in Zahedan, providing 1000MW of power supply
to Pakistan every year.
