    Abstract: The present invention contains a fluorinated ethyl oxide polyurethane of rf-(X)n-(CH2CHR1-O) m-CH2CH2-O-C(O)-NH)p-A, wherein Rf is C 1-C6 perfluorocarbon base; X is a dluorocarbon group; n is 0 or 1; R1 is H or C1-C4 alkyl; m is 1 to 20; p is at least 2 positive integers; and A is polycyanate residues, and methods of using such compounds to alter the surface properties of liquids.
