    Sinochem News News Recently, the polyethylene catalyst PSE-CX2 for slurry process series polymerization independently developed by the Petrochemical Research Institute has been popularized and applied in the three-reactor series process of the 170,000-ton/year Sanjing slurry polyethylene plant of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company.


    The series of three reactors is the main process for producing high-end polyethylene products.


    The catalyst completed its first industrial trial in Lanzhou Petrochemical in July 2021, producing more than 800 tons of 100% high-quality heat-resistant polyethylene pipe resin, filling the technical gap of PetroChina in the field of polyethylene catalysts for the three-tank series process


    The successful promotion and application of PSE-CX2 will help build an independent technical system of high-performance polyethylene catalysts and high-value-added polyethylene products with PetroChina characteristics, and provide refining and chemical enterprises with quality and efficiency improvement and domestic high-value-added special resin products supply.
